Robot - Injection Molding Project
For a class this winter quarter, my team was given a drawing from a Chicago Public School 4th grade class. Our job was to transform this drawing into a small, plastic, injection molded toy. My team created the model on NX Unigraphics, placed the parts on 2 mold models, then created the CNC machining program. After the molds were machined, they were put into the injection molding machine and used to create the pieces of our robot.
